About Mitchell
As a child, Mitchell was inquisitive, curious, and constantly engaged in artistic endeavors. He was so often drawing, writing, and story telling that his parents obtained a second-hand piano for their home, believing this would be another way for him to express his creativity. From his first lesson at age 6, piano became his passion-with Mitchell spending hours at the piano every day. A natural story teller, Mitchell became drawn to the medium of musical theatre and his music ultimately earned him a scholarship to pursue a performance degree in the arts.
Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Mitchell Wiley is currently based in Trenton, New Jersey. A senior at Rider University, he is a multi-hyphenate artist with talents ranging from piano performance and music theory to script writing and musical theatre composition. After two years of work, his first, full-length musical-Teddy, Phoebe, and the Visionary-was performed in January 2024. He is currently invested in other musical projects, while working to produce his show in New York City.
