About Mitchell

From his earliest years, Mitchell Wiley was always involved in the arts, writing and creating with a restless imagination that demanded expression. After being gifted a somewhat weathered second-hand piano at age seven, he began to hone a gift that would grow to become his artistic outlet even 15 years later. What started merely as a hobby quickly became a passion, sparking a lifelong devotion to musical expression.

A recent graduate of Rider University’s Musical Theatre Program, Mitchell has established himself as a multi-hyphenate artist whose work spans theatre performance, piano, music theory, scriptwriting, and musical theatre composition. His debut full-length musical, Teddy, Phoebe, and the Visionary, premiered in New York City in 2025—an ambitious first production that showcased both his artistic depth and storytelling instinct.

Mitchell is based in New York City, where he continues to perform, write, and develop original works while also teaching piano on the side.
